Google Search Hits All-Time US High: 67.9% google-logo

accounted for 67.90 percent of US searches in the four weeks ended April 26 — up 4 percent from the year-earlier period — according to Hitwise.

These figures mark an all-time high in market share for the leader, MarketingCharts writes.

  • Learning to implement “nofollow” tags is fairly easy. Learning how to apply them in the proper way does require some skill. This post was created in order to educate the average webmaster, or website owner, on what “nofollow” tags can do for your site.

    The use of “nofollow” tags can serve many different purposes. They can be used to limit the amount of link juice that flows out of a to external pages of different domains, or they can be used to control where the link juice will flow to within a site and its internal pages.

  • Google GlobeWhat?!! It’s true. Many of the biggest and most popular online retailers with fat budgets are not showing up for their own names or valuable in results. Most don’t even know it. How can this be?

    All the major engines offer a .com and a number of country-specific engines, like .ca, .co.uk, .com.au, .fr, .de and so on. These are local engines, and often use geo-IP targeting to show the local as the default when a searcher lives outside the United States.

    Google Analytics loses a weeks e-commerce data

    Analytics is today reporting a data processing from April 30th to May 5th. In addition they have lost a small percentage of data in the area of reporting that is not recoverable.

    As a company we have several clients on performance related contracts using Analytics data so this is a worrying .
